Registration Now Open for 2018-19

Registration information:

To register a team, please see the instructions at the New York State Science Olympiad website here: http://www.newyorkscioly.org/team-registration-information/

Basic Procedure

Basically, you are going to the Ezra website and registering your team.  Note that your school is permitted 3 teams - each team can have 15 competing members and 2 alternates.  You need to register each team (not just the school).  Please designate the teams A, B and C (if you have 3).  There is a separate registration fee for each team.

If you have any problems registering, please contact me at alicekasten@gmail.com.

Important Deadline

It is very important that teams are registered by the end of November.  That way, I will know how many teams are competing, and will be able to set up a schedule.  In order to award medals for 6 teams for each event, we need 20 teams registered by early December.

About Us

The Science Olympiad

Is a National Competition encompassing true inquiry events.  Students are involved not only in the academic fields of biology, chemistry, physics and earth science, but also in the technology behind them.  They build vehicles, bridges, roller coasters and more - and in the process learn about the science behind them.  They learn how to work with a team.  Students are rewarded for their academics, teamwork, and practice in this true STEM competition.
